Belmont Farm Distillery

April 1st - December 1st Tue - Fri 12pm-4pm Sat 11am-4pm Sun-Mon Closed

We offer tours of our distillery, tastings ($5) of our whiskey products, sales of our spirits: Virginia Lightning Corn Whiskey, Kopper Kettle Virginia Whiskey, Virginia Lightning Cherry, Virginia Lightning Apple Pie, Virginia Lightning Moonshine and Kopper Kettle Vodka. For more than four centuries our forefathers have been producing fresh whiskey in the hills of Virginia. Now, for the last 30 years, this once elusive drink is available for all to enjoy.

Until 30 years ago, whiskey for popular consumption, had been made in column stills, handling thousands of gallons per hour. Only at Belmont Farm, our whiskey is produced in a genuine solid copper pot still. While others may be flooding the market, our pot still whiskey is slow and handled with care, to preserve all of the aroma and taste of a fine fresh whiskey. Our copper pot still is truly the secret of our whiskey.

Desert Rose Winery

Open seven days a week. 12pm-6pm

Homemade wine was a part of my upbringing and I’ve continued that tradition into our own family having now made wine for some 40 years.

We decided to grow a small plot of grapes for family use and like many hobbies – that has now morphed into another major life pathway. We are surrounded by some of the best vineyards and wineries in Virginia and have now decided to join the industry in our own winery adventure. We continue to run a ranch operation and you might find a horse-related activity underway during your visit.

We  strive to put the absolute best product that we can in the bottle but we also believe that the sharing of wine should be one of life’s pleasures best enjoyed with laughter, good food, and in the company of family and friends!

Fox Meadow Winery

April 1st - December 1st Tue - Fri 12pm-4pm Sat 11am-4pm Sun-Mon Closed

Twelve years ago we visited the area, and fell in love with Northern Virginia. We visited some of the local wineries and realized that great wines can be crafted here! After an exhausting search we found the parcel of land which is now known as Fox Meadow Vineyards. Fox Meadow was once part of Freezeland Orchard, which was almost 100 years old. We could immediately see the potential of this location. It had great possibilities!

Once “discovering” the site, we enlisted some of the finest professionals in the region to consult with to develop Fox Meadow Vineyards. We have now been crafting great wines using traditional wine making skills and processes for nearly a decade. Whether your taste is for the more traditional old world style dry wines like our Reserve Cabernet Franc or Le Renard Rouge or if you prefer a light refreshing aromatic fruity white like our Pinot Gris or Blue Mountain Mist, we have something for you.

Old Bust Head Brewing Company

Taproom Hours: Wed-Fri 3pm-8pm Sat 12pm-8pm Sun 12pm-7pm

Old Bust Head Brewing Company is named for a bygone crossroads in the rolling hills of Fauquier County, Virginia. The locals who dubbed the corner ‘Bust Head’ enjoyed not only the potent libations brewed there, but also a little good humor.

Some say the locals came up with the nickname when a neighbor fell off his horse after ‘overindulging’ at the corner shop one evening. Others say the locals who drank there were partial to Saturday night fights, or that they just fell down and busted their heads on the rough old country road.

While we're serious about the art of crafting exceptional beer, and about our passion for our community and our environment, we salute those past and present who keep things playfully in perspective and make life a bit more enjoyable for all of us.

Winding Road Cellars

Thursday-Monday 11am-5pm

Many people who visit Winding Road Cellars ask us how we chose our name, and there are a few ways we often answer. First, we ask those who question, "How did you arrive here today?"

"By way of winding road," we answer, smiling.

Yes, Leeds Manor Road is a winding, beautiful road for certain.

There is, of course, a more fulsome explanation to the name, and we'd love to share it with you when you come in for a tasting or a glass.

To be sure, there have been many winding roads in our life. It's amazing the twists and turns life takes as you go forward through the years! We surely never thought we'd end up growing grapes! This adventure we now find ourselves in has been hard work but full of good times - working hand in hand and side by side, laughing at our mistakes and misadventures, learning and enjoying new experiences.
